Akismet Spam Check for Web-To-Lead Forms

Spam is a common problem for almost every Salesforce.com implementation that uses Web to Lead. Arrowpointe has a free PHP script available that allows you to incorporate Akismet, the leading tool for stopping Spam on blogs, into your Web to Lead process. This process will mark, in a custom field, whether or not Akismet deems a web to lead entry as spam. It is then up to you to process that lead in Salesforce.com using a variery of techniques like Validation Rules, Assignment Rules or Workflow Rules.
